You're correct, single channel(mono) out.

"Mains send" or "Mains out" IMO is probably the most accurate term for your pre out signal, "send" sometimes implies the output of a loop, and "mains" is sometimes assumed to mean AC mains. So, i think you have to be careful about calling it anything other that what it is "preamp out" unless you're in familiar company.
